今回も参加させていただきました！
大会を通して、子供達にとって他道場の人達と交流での場でもあり、ライバル達との熱い気持ちをぶつけ合う場所でもあります。
1人1人が目の前の事に真剣に向き合って全力出す姿は素晴らしいですね。
今回、勝利した人、負けてしまった人、それぞれの思いを胸に次に向かって頑張って行きましょう！👍

世界の沖縄空手選手が集う世界大会が沖縄で行われました。
場所は宜野湾市の沖縄コンベンションセンターでした。
今大会は８月８日から８月１２日までみっちり５日間あり、
たっぷり空手と沖縄を満喫できる大会です！
沖縄空手の大会の中でも一番大きな大会だそうで
今回は少年少女の第二目となります。
開会式も盛大です！
日本を含む17か国から1500名以上が参加とのことで
姫路支部からも2名参加しました。
空手の３流派別型と古武道棒の型の試合となっています。
予選からあり、本選に行けるのは沖縄県内から4名、海外・県外・県内離島から4名と選りすぐりの選手がトーナメントに参加できます。
そんな中、姫路支部からは首里系空手型少年少女Ⅰに１名
古武道棒の型少年Ⅰに１名と参戦。
二人とも最高の型を披露しましたが
残念ながら予選敗退となりました。
でも、世界の空手家達と沖縄で戦えたのは素晴らしい経験でしたね！
次にむかって頑張ろう！！
閉会式も素晴らしく、県知事もメダル贈与されてました。
そのあとには交流会ということで、隣にあるトロピカルビーチで
きいやま商店のliveを見ながら沖縄ビール！
いろいろな国の空手家とお話しさせてもらって
勉強になった上に自分の国にも来てほしいなど言ってもらえたり
大会に参加することで学びと経験と出会いが生まれるものですね。
これからも僕も含め清流館姫路は経験しながら学んでいければと思います

The 2nd Okinawa Karate World Tournament for Youth
The world tournament where Okinawa karate athletes from around the globe gather was held in Okinawa.
The venue was the Okinawa Convention Center in Ginowan City.
This tournament lasted for five full days, from August 8th to August 12th, offering plenty of opportunities to fully enjoy karate and Okinawa!
It is said to be the largest tournament among Okinawa karate events, and this time it was the second tournament for youth participants.
The opening ceremony was grand!
More than 1,500 participants from 17 countries, including Japan, took part, with two representatives from the Himeji branch.
The competitions included kata from the three main karate styles and kobudō bō (staff) kata.
There were preliminaries, and only the best competitors could proceed to the main tournament: four from within Okinawa, and four from overseas, mainland Japan, and Okinawa’s remote islands.
From the Himeji branch, one participant competed in the Shuri-style karate kata for boys and girls I, and another in the kobudō bō kata boys I.
Both of them showcased their best kata, but unfortunately, they were eliminated in the preliminaries.
However, the experience of competing with karateka from around the world in Okinawa was invaluable! Let’s work hard for the next challenge!
The closing ceremony was also impressive, with the Governor of Okinawa presenting medals.
After that, there was a social gathering at the nearby Tropical Beach, where we enjoyed an Okinawan beer while watching a live performance by Kiyama Shōten!
We had the opportunity to converse with karateka from various countries, learning a lot and even receiving invitations to visit their countries. Participating in this tournament was truly a chance to gain knowledge, experience, and new connections.
Moving forward, I hope that the Seiryūkan Himeji branch, including myself, can continue to learn through experience. We would be grateful for your support if you spot us in tournaments or demonstrations wearing our karate uniforms.
姫路支部では毎年3月と１０月に昇級審査会を行っています😊
審査内容はジュニア部門と一般部門に分かれており、
型や古武道、試し割りなどがあります。
普段の稽古中は沖縄ミュージックが流れており、
真剣な練習の中にもリズミカルで力を入れたり脱力したりと
緩急をつけた稽古をしていますが
審査中は無音で緊張感のある審査となっています😕
そんな空気感の中、生徒のみんなは全員合格となりました🤗

今回もまた階段を一段上がりました。

In the Himeji branch, we hold promotion examinations every March and October. 😊
The examination consists of junior and adult divisions, with components such as kata, ancient martial arts, and board breaking.
During regular practice sessions, Okinawan music fills the air. Amidst serious training, we incorporate rhythmic movements, applying and releasing force, to vary the intensity of our practice. However, during examinations, there’s a tense atmosphere with no music. 😕
In this atmosphere, all the students managed to pass. 🤗

本年度も姫路支部より清流館本部道場で昇段審査を4名が受けて参りました。
年に二回、3月と9月に沖縄本部にて開催される、昇段審査。
清流館会長、副館長、各支部長、5段以上の審査委員の方々による、
気の抜けない審査会です。
この審査に向かう時は僕を含め、姫路のメンバーは仙人の住む山に向かうかの如く覚悟を決めて向かうのであります(笑)
いつもは厳しくも優しい先生、先輩方もこの日だけは厳しいのです😅
しかしそんな厳しさも、清流館の伝統ある空手、古武道を真剣に指導してくださるがための通る道なのです🤔
そんな、昇段審査に向かった姫路支部の４名は、無事全員合格‼️
皆さん、コツコツと地道に頑張ってこられた成果が発揮されましたね😊
また、次の目標に向かって一緒に頑張っていきましょう！

This year, once again, four members from the Himeji branch participated in the promotion examination held at the Seiryukan Honbu Dojo.
The promotion examination takes place twice a year, in March and September, at the Okinawa headquarters. It is a rigorous examination conducted by the Seiryukan president, vice president, branch chiefs, and examination committee members of 5th dan and above.
When heading to this examination, we, including myself, from the Himeji branch, prepare ourselves as if we were heading to the mountain where the hermit dwells (laughs).
Even our usually strict yet kind teachers and seniors become exceptionally stringent on this day (chuckles).
However, such rigor is also the path through which Seiryukan’s traditional karate and ancient martial arts are earnestly taught.
The four members from the Himeji branch who participated in the promotion examination all passed successfully!
Everyone’s consistent and diligent efforts have truly paid off.
Let’s continue to work together towards our next goals!
